The new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) legislation affects how businesses or organisations use your personal data and communicate with you. Many patients will be familiar with this legislation from emails received from online services, shops, newsletters etc etc in the last few weeks. GDPR also affects contacts and communications from the NHS and so this practice.
